Traveling Physical Therapy Jobs description
Traveling therapist job opportunities are available with hospitals, outpatient facilities, nursing homes and therapy clinics. The length of most traveling jobs is between 4-26 weeks and these are located in cities as well as small towns all over America. Traveling jobs include (but are not limited to) traveling physical therapist, traveling occupational therapist, and traveling speech therapist. Traveling physical therapists help people suffering from injury or disease to restore function and improve mobility. Traveling occupational therapists help to improve mobility and daily living conditions of people suffering from muscle, joint, or orthopedic problems. A traveling speech therapist treats speech disorders.
A bachelor’s degree in therapy from an accredited college is required for a traveling job. Traveling therapists also need to hold valid licensure to practice. Traveling therapists must be extroverts and be willing to work away from home.
