Sr. Physical Therapist Jobs description
A Sr. physical therapist directs and supervises a team of physical therapists, assistant therapists, volunteers and caregivers in planning and coordinating the daily operations of the facility. A Sr. physical therapist may also provide effective therapy programs to patients including evaluation, diagnosis and treatment. Participating in conferences and departmental meetings, coordinating with facility personnel like doctors, nurses, and maintaining records may also be part of a Sr. physical therapist’s job.A Sr. physical therapist may also serve as an instructor for clinical teaching and the department spokesperson for educational programs. As an experienced physical therapist, the applicant is expected to serve as a role model for all the junior therapy staff and technicians
A Sr. physical therapist requires a degree in physical therapy from a recognized institute. All necessary certificates and licenses are also required. Previous experience in similar setting is important. Excellent oral and written communication skills, effective time management skills and ability to lead a team are also important.
