An outpatient physical therapy professional is responsible for providing physical therapy treatment at the patient's residence or a rehabilitation center run by a public interest organization. Specific duties of an outpatient physical therapy professional include preparing patient and equipment for treatments, assisting in providing various treatments, recording patient information at various stages of medical care, ensuring that the patients are given proper medication on time, changing linens, cleaning and maintaining the equipments used for patient care, helping patients in various treatment related issues and performing various other tasks.An outpatient professional should have a bachelor's degree in physical therapy or a registered nurse certification. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Strong interest in patient care is essential. A professional demeanor is essential for an outpatient opening.
