Physiotherapist Jobs description
A physiotherapist is responsible for providing treatment to patients through physical exercises and medication. Specific duties of a physiotherapist include analyzing case history, studying the prescription or suggestions of physician, determining insurance authorization for the patient, evaluating all the patients using appropriate tests, designing a patient treatment and physical education plan, training patients on various physical exercises, monitoring effects of treatment at various stages, coordinating with physicians to obtain additional information, suggesting treatment revisions, ensuring that the patients perform various physical exercises in the correct manner, and performing various other tasks as required. A physiotherapist typically reports to a physiotherapy manager or a medical officer.A physiotherapist should have a bachelor's degree in physiotherapy. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Prior experience working as a physiotherapist is advantageous. A strong urge to help patients is essential.
