RN Jobs description

An RN or registered nurse position may be available with any medical organization. An RN is responsible for performing a wide variety of medical assistance duties. Specific duties of an RN include taking patient history, preparing diagnosis rooms, keeping exam rooms filled, assisting physician in various tasks, providing patient education, keeping information current and orderly, following up with patients, maintaining clean, safe, and well stocked exam rooms, scheduling return appointments, ensuring a professional yet friendly approach with the patients and their families, and performing other tasks assigned by the physician. An RN typically reports to physician or medical officer.
An RN should have a registered nurse certification. Prior experience as a registered nurse assistant or registered nurse is advantageous. Excellent academic credentials are required. Prior experience as an RN may be helpful.
