Most physical therapists are employed in hospitals, and you will find that you are gong to be called upon to evaluate your patient's history and to test their strength, range of motion, coordination and performance in general. They will then instruct the patient when it comes to exercise and they will work them through practice regimens that can focus on balance, coordination, endurance, strength and balance, with a goal towards returning the patient to functionality. You may also use electrical stimulation, cold compresses, or hot packs to relieve pain, and as time goes on, you will find that you will continue to evaluate their progress and guide them towards the best sort of result that they can look for.
